J-Walk is a time of Worship
and Bible Study
Children’s Worship is a wonderful worship experience for children from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
We worship through music and study of the Word of God.
LifeGroup (Sunday School) is such a meaningful time for children
to get to know each other in an informal way. They study the
Word of God and do hands on activities that help them
understand what they are being taught. This is one way
we reach our children and allow them to grow in a
small group environment.
Sunday J-Walk Opportunities:
252 Basics Lifegroup material for children K-5th grades
We want every child to have experienced and own three basic truths
modeled by
Jesus in Luke 2:52 (Now you know what the 252 means!)
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Sunday mornings beginning at 9 a.m.
Memory Verses?
9:00 - 9:10 a.m. Plug-In: Small Group Time in Classroom: designed to introduce
children to the day’s topic in a setting that gives them individualized attention from their
Small Group Leader and interaction with a small group of peers.
9:15 - 9:45 a.m. Power Up: Large Group Time in Children’s Worship:
designed to engage children in worship in a large group setting with music,
prayer and an innovative approach to the Bible story.
9:50 - 10:20 a.m. Catch On: Small Group Time in Classroom: designed to help kids
understand how the day’s topic applies to them. They will discuss real-life experiences,
interact with a close knit group of peers and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to
different learning styles. Life-application and memory verse activities and prayer
are incorporated in this time.
10:30 - 11:45 a.m. Children’s Worship is a wonderful worship experience
through music, object lessons and the study of the Word of God
By helping to decorate our stage to go along with the theme of the month
Performing in our dramas (students, college & career, adults)
Helping to put materials together
Donating items needed

Wednesday J-Walk Opportunities:   
AWANA at 6 p.m. for ages 2 through 6th grade during the school year
What an exciting time for children! They memorize the Word of God, learn to play together and are
taught a missionary story or Bible lesson during Council Time. During the year, they earn rewards for
which they are recognized in a Closing Ceremony at the end of the school year.

Our purpose in the Childhood Ministries is to teach our children to know, love and serve Christ in His power. We desire to glorify our Father in Heaven by preparing these precious children to serve Him now. There are many ways children can serve the Lord and not wait until they are grown.
